Privacy policy
How AMRTP collects, uses and protects your information when you use the telecom offer comparison platform.
Last updated: August 2026

1. Data controller
The data controller is the Malian Authority for the Regulation of Telecommunications, ICT and Posts (AMRTP), located at ACI 2000 Hamdallaye, P.O. Box 2206, Bamako — Mali. Contact: amrtp@amrtp.ml.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the public comparison website (tarifs.amrtp.ml) and the AMRTP Compare+ mobile application.
It does not cover telecom operators' websites or apps to which you may be redirected to subscribe to an offer.
3. Data we process
Public website: simulation criteria (budget, volumes, preferences) and technical navigation data (server logs, IP address, browser type) needed to operate and secure the service. The public comparator does not require a citizen account.
Contact form: name, email address, subject and message that you voluntarily submit.
Mobile app: comparison history and preferences stored locally on your device; where applicable, a device identifier and push notification token to inform you of relevant updates.
4. Purposes
Provide a neutral and transparent telecom offer comparison tool.
Respond to requests submitted through the contact form.
Ensure the security, availability and improvement of the service (technical logs, abuse prevention).
5. Legal basis and retention
Processing is based on AMRTP's public-service mission, your consent where required (contact, notifications), and information-system security obligations.
Contact data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request. Technical logs are retained for a limited period consistent with security needs. Mobile history remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
6. Recipients and transfers
Data is processed by authorised AMRTP services and, where necessary, by technical providers strictly required for hosting and operations (under confidentiality commitments).
No personal data is sold or transferred for commercial purposes. Telecom operators do not receive your comparison data from this platform.
7. Security
AMRTP implements appropriate technical and organisational measures (access control, encryption in transit, logging) to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
8. Your rights
Under applicable personal-data protection rules, you may request access to, rectification or deletion of data concerning you, within the limits set by law and AMRTP's obligations.
To exercise your rights or ask a question: amrtp@amrtp.ml, or via the platform Contact page.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the service or the legal framework. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page. Please review it regularly.
